GitHub

Olen viime aikoina tehnyt kevät siivousta omassa profiilissani. Vielä on paljon tekemistä—haluaisin lisätä projekteihin enemmän ohjeita, dokumentaatiota ja kuvia.

Olen myös päivittänyt GitHub -sivuni uuteen ilmeeseen. Käy katsomassa! Sivulle on tulossa lisää toimintoja, mutta ensin oli vuorossa tervetullut visuaalinen päivitys. Sinnehän voisi vaikka tulevaisuudessa blogia pitää.... Tavoitteena luoda tästä kaikesta niin sanottu portfolio.  

Relaatiotietokanta

Mitä muuta olen viime aikoina tehnyt? Olen perehtynyt paremmin SQL-maailmaan ja kokeillut eri konsepteja 1NTdb:n kanssa. Lähtee aika syvään päätyyn tälläisen oppiminen. Tämänhän piti olla tietenkin helppoa lähteä MS Access sovelluksesta omaan SQL tietokantaan. (Ideana on ollut siis luoda oma tietokanta yhdistämällä nettisivu koodaus, python ohjelmointikieli sekä MariaDB)

Office paketti

Pakko mainita. Olen ollut Office-paketin käyttäjä ainakin kymmenen vuotta putkeen. Viime vuosina alennuksia ei ole enää tullut, joten olen maksanut täyttä hintaa. Kohta pitää ostaa taas vuosi lisää. Opiskeluaikoina tämä oli loistava diili—yksi teratavu pilvitallennustilaa ja kaikki sovellukset käyttöön pienellä summalla jokaisessa laitteessa. Siitä tuli riippuvuus, kun on rakentanut vuosien varrella elämääni näiden ympärille. Sovellukset ovat olleet todella hyödyllisiä ja sujuvoittaneet arkea. Valitettavasti tämä vuosi on ollut alamäkeä, kun niihin on tuotu tekoälyä ja koko kokemus on oikeastaan pilattu. Varsinkin kännykän tai taulutietokoneen osalta. Olen jos jonkin näköistä korvaavaa kokeillut eri tilanteisiin mutta hankalaa on. (Toisaalta esimerkiksi musiikin suoratoistopalvelukin maksaa enemmän vuodessa...)

Windows

Puhetta alamäkeen menneistä asioista… Windows on valitettavasti myös yksi näistä omasta mielestä. Käytän edelleen samaa HP-läppäriä arjessa, jonka ostin käytettynä noin kahdeksan vuotta sitten. Se toimii yhä kaikin puolin akkua myöten, mutta käyttöjärjestelmä on vanhenemassa. Nyt mennään niin sanotussa jatkoajassa—tietoturvapäivityksiä saa vielä lokakuuhun asti. Mitäs sitten? Olen toisella vanhalla läppärillä käyttänyt Linuxia silloin tällöin, mutta taas palataan siihen Office-pakettiin… 

Muuta

Olen tässä samalla keskittynyt kaiken muun ohella myös Pythonilla tekstipohjaisiin käyttöliittymiin siinä toivossa, että saisin heräteltyä vanhan idean takaisin henkiin. Suunnitelmissa on, että se toimisi komentokehotteella ja kaikki tiedostot tallennettaisiin JSON-tiedostoina. Eli kyseessä on PTB-database.

Main:

The 2018 year is soon over. I should more often publish these. Much has happened and I have developed a lot for the new year but how many things do I get ready. Many in the below topics associated with python but I have also done tests in different languages example c# with GuessTheNumber.

Python:

IT8c and VSLst got a big update that takes forward my system that maintains all the information. The first release of the visual addon project is out and its PTIA. Need to do a tutorial for that. Python test codes received their own ID but still maintain an alphabetic system. PTB Database has been delayed a lot. But that will be a big deal. A few other things I have developed but have not reached the finishing.

GitHub:
I've added more info and tags to repositories.

Time Leap:

This Time Leap idea came from a friend and I wanted to help him play idle games better. This software is able to change pc's time temporarily.

Other:
I have bought a few things, but they will become its own separate post. For example, I bought a few products on black friday. It's somewhat hard to make any video so they're coming to this blog.

Highlights:
New video on youtube where I unboxed my new Lucid Sound LS20 headphones and still works well with my notebook on the go.
Website:
New things have come and more are coming. Front page needs something more than Facebook and Twitter feeds.
Python:
Currently making visual addon to projects. I want certain style when I make tui projects and I want to make it easier.
YouTube:
Unboxing video wasn't quality what I want but still wanted to publish it. I want develop a common style for future videos.
Documents:
I'm starting to make better project documents. Have not yet decided how to publish them online yet.

LMT 13

Highlights:
The last blog text has a little time for good reasons. But still I have developed a few things in the background forward. PTB Database looking so good with new style based on barcodes. I have used it every day.

GitHub:
IT8c libray got more features example Copa features. More ideas come while developing other things. One great thing would be to order list alphabetically. At the moment, there is a small problem with PTB Database what I have noticed after release (57.9800.217-1707.5.32). If you start a new database it's complains about scanning database, because there is not any product at 'logab false'. I have not yet got it repaired.
YouTube:
Need to create videos about my softwares at some point order to you better understand how they can be used at max. I have not just finish them with quality what I want.
HTML:
It would be great to get own GitHub.io page to work with automation (Updates site via csv files).
Other:
I have some time focused on developing a text-based data software. So great to be able to download data to the server with SSH. 

LMT 12

Highlights:
Need to develop more PTB-Database to get better my home data up and going.

GitHub:
I have recently updated few repositories. For example Tace and 2PGR saves and load data now from folders, IT8c have more features. Also I'm planning to update couple repositories what I have not updated for a while.
IT5c:
I have not been able to continue for a number of reasons, but I have plans for it just need time for it. I've learned so much about data management with python so I've moved more out of IT5c.
Other:
It's been a while since last post, but I've been busy.

LMT 11

GitHub:
IT8c has got logo and more updates for example array smartprint. I made TaCe python project to learn Twitter api with tweepy library and first release is on github. 2PGR got a visual improvement after the IT8c update.

Blender:
I have recently learned to use Blender and I could do some content of that.
Other:
Changing the news name to this and the schedule will change.

Weekly Wrapup 10

Highlights:
IT8c and 2PGR are getting a lot more better. And new ideas coming.
GitHub:
AMCsc is the new project and its Minecraft server management software. Currently highly in development.
Other:
I'm upgrading my network equipment soon (mainly switch and router) and I might make videos about it.

Highlights:
IT8c able to open more complex csv files. You should follow the wiki to stay up to date.
GitHub:
New project coming and relates to data management.
IT5c:
IT5c is a complex process to develop so take the time to develop more content.

Arduino:
Planning to make project page for Electricity Meter with pictures to main website and make code better.
Other:
Busy week at work and did not have much time this week.

Highlights:
Github ghs page got a completely new style (check here).

GitHub:

I tested to make Bukkit Plugins and first plugin is calld speediskeyplugin. I have not yet been released .jar file of that because it was just a test.

IT5c:

I am currently done other things than this but more IT5c softwares coming.

Arduino:

I started to make the code what gets data from electricity meter led (check here).

Weekly Wrapup 6

Highlights:
IT8c python library has now a lot of new features and you can check wiki here to learn more.
GitHub:
Current project is to get the more and more codes to work on Windows and Linux and write more wikis. IT8c has been tested on Linux successfully and work best with python 3.

I also started to make website with github (check here). Operates mainly as a new repository highlights page. Still in development.

Main:
Busy week. Did not have much time this week.
GitHub:
Better version of IT8c released. Little updates to shutdown timer and backup engine repositories. New projects getting ready soon.
Website:
Website getting new style.

Weekly wrapup 4: Happy Halloween!

Highlights:
My first library to python has been published and you can check last blog post here.
GitHub:
Planning to make more python codes with IT8c and experimenting with new programming languages.
IT5c:
Creating more and more code to get working new softwares. Always exciting to get new softwares released.
Other:
First month almost behind and it has been good month. What might be the future of IntSPstudio.

IT5c:
New version published with little fixes and more features mainly to terminal. You can download IT5c. Making now info / library documents and coding new software.
GitHub:
You can now check hilights about repositories on my website. New python projects coming. Need to make tutorial for backupengine.
Other news:
Currently updating website and planning to make weekly wrapup 'thumbnail'. Would be cool.

Weekly Wrapup 2

Highlights:

This week top moment was when first software based on IT5c published. I hope ISC is useful to you and I made a tutorial about it. It was nice to see how many people have watched that tutorial video. Thank you.

GitHub:

New code projects published. For example, I have created own way to read csv data. Will be used for future projects. Need to make blog post about repositories to make it is easier find what you are looking for or find new stuff.

IT5c project:

New updates and some fixing coming soon.

Other news:

I liked to do something with Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Arduino is currently not in use and Raspberry Pi is secondary pc running ViMe and other light tasks.

Weekly Wrapup 1

Highlights:

First week behind and this week I have focused on Website and GitHub. Website is getting better and new GitHub repositories published. I've been thinking about doing these weekly wrapups every week so more news coming.

Programming langues:

I'm currently using a lot of python, html, and lua. What programming languages you'd like to see?

First IT5c software is almost ready. Lot of softwares and features coming but when I get ready.
